Ratafia dels Carboners is produced by Marc Subirà in Cànoves a town in el Vallès Oriental in Catalunya.
After many years of experimenting and perfecting his recipe, we can assure you that he has found it! A mysterious feeling from the first moment you smell it until it warms up in your mouth. Shy hints of smoke on the nose, and a silky feeling in the mouth. Tastes of forest herbs and species, blend harmoniously with a smoky punchy flavor, with a long and pleasant aftertaste.
This ratafia is a tribute to the first charcoal makers in the region. A long and complex process! This is where the coal comes from in a natural and artisanal way. It is, without a doubt, the inspiration that has led us to make our ratafia. A ratafia based on the ancient trade of a charcoal burner and so necessary in the past.
